For all intent and purpous, it appears that the T10010 is the same as the Tormek T3 aside form the Grizzly paint job and logo on it.(?)

Jun 15, 2010· 8" grinder, the wheels are light, a cheap motor is all you need for one maybe 2 lifetimes. If the wheels do not clear, use a block of wood to raise the grinder above the table. I have 3500 rpm cheapie, if I could rewind, I would have spent 75 and got a variable at 1750 and 3500 model.

Jul 24, 2015· I''ve got the Rikon Slow Speed 8" grinder. It does a good job on the things I need it to. I''ve used it to reprofile lathe tools and such before bringing them to the tormek for final honing and such. If you''re just sharpening hand plane blades, I''d seriously consider getting a honing guide and a couple of stones for that price.
